I watched the video of this discussion. All of them, including Henry, are a bunch of wannabe managers who’ve tried and failed at the top level. Henry, Keane, and especially Neville were exceptional players, but their managerial careers will never come close to matching their playing days. They prove that footballing intelligence on the pitch doesn’t automatically translate into managerial success.
Yet week in, week out, they sit there and criticise Arteta for not winning a trophy, without ever bothering to consider the context. They ignore the state of the club when he took over; disrespected, disjointed, and in total decline. They overlook the injury crises he’s navigated, the rebuild he’s led, and the fact that Arsenal, under his guidance, now attract elite talent, graduate top academy players, play outstanding football, and have a future to be proud of.
These clowns should sit this one out, including Henry, who seems to carry a hint of jealousy that Arteta got the job he once wanted. This is a conversation far above their pay grade as pundits.
5 years old - Mom, I love you.
12 years old - Mom, I can't stand you.
16 years old - My mother is very annoying.
18 years old - I'm leaving this house.
25 years old - Mom, you were right.
30 years old - I want to go to my mom's house.
50 years old - I don't want to lose my mother.
70 years old - I would give up everything to have my mom here with me.
You only have one mom. Take care of her while she's still alive.
