The very fact that there are "more Evos" without the history and mystique dillutes the icon of the Vegas event/brand enough that there isn't a "main" Evo anyway.

I wouldn't work for Evo out of a principle they probably don't care about, which makes me respect them as people a bit less, but that doesn't mean their tournaments are Saudi bought for the purpose of sportswashing. I see no value in allowing a foreign entity corporatizing or expanding a brand to pay 3 people every 3 months more prize money. We played for peanuts and we talk about those days even now
