@ryouskye @melmel_jpg handwriting hanzi into pleco mid video is so real 😭 if you watch on a desktop browser though, you can use a local video ocr extension so zhongwen or yomitan works directly over bilibili hardsubs. saves so much time compared to drawing characters out manually!

@jegaevi Pro tip for Bilibili: if you ever run into videos with hardcoded captions where the sub downloader can't pull a file, you can use a local OCR browser extension to make the burned-in text selectable for Yomitan directly on the video player.

finding good ones is super easy once you cut out the noise! just run through tae kim for quick grammar, then jump straight into native immersion with anki + yomitan for vocab. if you watch japanese youtube, i built yuzulingo so yomitan lookups work right over hardcoded video subs.
