Peter Obi was invited to speak today as a guest speaker at Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife. However, the program was canceled after Tinubu and Sawolu worked with the university management to stop it. This is not the first time this has happened.

Prestigious universities like Harvard and many others in Europe and America have invited Peter Obi to speak, where he delivered strong and inspiring speeches that motivated young people to work hard and aim for excellence.

Abroad, they Celebrate Him, At Home They Silence Him.

But in Nigeria, our universities, which should be centers for learning, sharing ideas, and innovative thinking are being undermined for cheap political reasons.

If this is not state capture and institutional degradation, what is it?

When universities are used for politics instead of education, it is the students and Nigeria’s future that suffer.

We must protect our schools from political interference by ensuring this government never returns in 2027.
