@darrenpjones This is the 2nd time you have posted about this. You clearly did not read the comments in your last post. This one is on you and your wretched Government.
As most of you know I sit on the Liquidation Committee and interact regularly with Begbies. It took me 4 months but I managed to obtain the annual (lack of) progress reports that are filed with the Jersey Court. I have asked the Liquidator to refile the missing report and copy
@ranscouter Someone will take an interest eventually. Look at recent real life docudramas (Salisbury for example) they seem to take years to get commissioned and made.
So if there was any doubt that the FCA, GC, Treasury and DCMS were not colluding in covering up their fuck ups relating to #footballindex that has been dispelled in todays response. Having a think about how I approach this.
@GaryTraderFI1 There's always a chance of a positive outcome. In an ideal world this would have been resolved as it's so obvious we were screwed over by the regulators. They didn't have a clue what they were doing and neither did the FI Directors. Govt. now complicit in covering it up sadly.
me in. I have started to analyse these and will update you on next steps once I have a) made a decision and b) shared it with the other members of the committee.
@stevenctilley@SpreadexSport I have a screenshot where the Spreadex agent doesn't even know what a CFD is. It's unacceptable that consumers are put at risk. It's not Spreadex fault. It's FCA and HM Treasury refusal to clarify.
I will respond to the PHSO directly expressing my disgust at this response but the next stage in the process is to raise this with PACAC and my supportive MP.

As my #footballindex followers are aware I have received plenty of disappointing correspondence with poor quality content confirming a total lack of understanding of their procedures and rules. However this response from the Parliamentary Ombudsman is probably the worst yet.
Despite correcting them in my response to her 1st letter she still believes Sean Martin was the CEO of Betindex and not the FCA's General Counsel. This lack of attention to detail is not acceptable and will be escalated in my next letter.
This is the page from the FOI I was referring to above and confirmation that discussions remain "live" - my view is that they dare not publish anything until after 6 years as it will strengthen our case for legal action although it would still be difficult.
