It’s so exciting when our carnival does make it onto national television, and that is exactly what happened on Thursday night.

@BCarnival was featured on a prime time Channel 5 television documentary travelogue.

We ended up with 5th place in county at all 7 carnivals, which is our overall best result for 38 years 😲

A massive congratulations to Ramblers on their County Cup win 👏

Well, we didn't want the 2023 carnival season to come to an end but we are 'chuffed' with our final placing.

We came 4th at Glastonbury, which is our highest placing outside of Bridgwater for 34 years. We also received 4th place for Best Decorated Towing Vehicle 🚂

I don't post very often but I've just heard on the radio Sir Bobby Charlton has sadly passed.

The term GOAT is used all too often these days but of his time Sir Bobby was the greatest English player.

The carnival clubs that form Bridgwater Carnival - Gangs and Features have donated £600 to Mind in Somerset
and £600 to the Stockmoor Lodge Residents Fund.

The money was raised through charity collections during the Old Folks Shows 2023.
