🚨📊 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Cristiano Ronaldo earned €22M net per year on his final Real Madrid contract.
Ronaldo demanded €30M, but Florentino Pérez refused to go beyond €25M, and Ronaldo eventually left.
Vinícius Jr. was earning €25M and has now secured a €31M deal after threatening to leave the club.
Florentino rejected the greatest player in Real Madrid history, but made an exception for Viní Jr.
Interesting treatment for a club legend. 🤐
The key message from ETF flows last week: this was not a full risk-on week, but a week of layered capital allocation as macro conditions improved.
$BTC ETFs recorded $623M in net inflows for the week, marking 6 straight weeks of inflows. That tells us institutional positioning in Bitcoin remains intact. But the recent two-day outflow streak also matters. With BTC pushing back toward the $80K area, some fast money appears to be taking profit, even as longer-term allocation capital stays in place.
$ETH ETFs brought in $70.49M last week, led by BlackRock’s ETHA with $100M in net inflows. That looks like a recovery on the surface, but the structure matters: it feels more like concentrated buying into a top-tier product than broad-based demand across the full ETH ETF complex. In other words, ETH is stabilizing, but the recovery is still not as convincing as BTC’s.
The more interesting shift came from $SOL and $XRP.
Last week, spot SOL ETFs saw $39.23M in net inflows, while spot XRP ETFs added $34.21M. That suggests that as macro pressure eased and risk appetite improved, capital was not just rotating back into Bitcoin, but also starting to reach for higher-beta exposure.
So the real takeaway is not simply who got the most inflows. It is this: BTC remains the core allocation, ETH is in repair mode, and SOL/XRP are starting to capture tactical beta flows.
What matters next is whether this layered rotation continues.
If BTC flows keep cooling while SOL and XRP continue to attract capital, the market may be rotating further out the risk curve. But if BTC re-accelerates and ETH flows broaden beyond ETHA alone, then this week may look more like a healthy sentiment reset than a true style shift. Which scenario do you think plays out?

A few takeaways from Thomas Peterffy, CEO of IBKR on his Plan to Professionalize Prediction Markets
Prediction markets are starting to look less like niche crypto products and more like a real financial category. The path may resemble early options markets: fragmented at first, then scaling quickly once distribution, institutions, and standards improve.
The bigger opportunity isn’t sports or entertainment, it’s markets that help people and institutions price uncertainty around things like inflation, recession, policy, climate, and AI.
One important point:
the real bottleneck may not be liquidity alone, but standardization and resolution. If the same contract means different things across platforms, liquidity can’t truly aggregate. Markets can price odds, but the system still needs a reliable way to determine what actually happened.

🚨SoSoValue Flash: UAE Shakes OPEC as AI Logic Faces "Moment of Truth"
💥 Core Catalyst: Truce Extensions & Tehran ShadowsWhile the Israel-Lebanon truce extension provides a temporary diplomatic floor, the UAE's exit from OPEC+ introduces a structural supply shock to the energy complex. Geopolitical risk in Hormuz is now battling a looming oil glut, shifting the market's focus from "supply disruption" to "production competition" as the primary driver for crude.
🔍 Key Logic Shifts:
1️⃣ Energy Shock: The UAE exiting OPEC+ effective May 1 is a regime shift. A planned production ramp-up fundamentally undermines the OPEC+ price floor, effectively neutralizing the risk premium traditionally associated with the "Tehran Shadows" over the Strait. 2️⃣ Macro Policy: A hawkish BoJ hold (3 dissenters) and soaring June hike odds signal a rapid unwinding of the yen carry trade. This heightens the stakes for Powell’s tone on Wednesday as the market prepares for the transition to the "Warsh Era."
3️⃣ AI & Earnings: Rumors of OpenAI’s revenue miss add a layer of fragility to the AI narrative. Wednesday’s "Big 4" earnings (MSFT, GOOGL, META, AMZN) must now provide concrete evidence that massive compute Capex is generating sufficient ROI to sustain current valuations.
