Yesterday we had an APEX COUNCIL meeting ,and it was noted with sadness that civil servants salaries have been eroded by inflation,they are not getting less than 50 USD .It was resolved that civil servants be constantly adjusted according to prevailing USD market exchange rate.

Teachers in Zimbabwe deserve better renumeration and conditions of service.Its unfortunate that the gvt is not taking them serious.

The government of Zimbabwe has let down teachers,teachers are now totally incapacitated to go to work,the only acceptable thing is for the teachers to be paid in USD.

Zimbabwe Democratic Teachers' Union held its first elective conference in April 2018 from the 27th to the 29th at Adelaide Acres in Harare under the theme,'Total teacher empowerment through partnerships'.It was attended by more than fifty delegates drawn from all ten provinces.
