On Wednesday we were busy cutting back some of the new saplings and taking out some of the laurel there is still plenty to keep us busy on Sunday so please come and help 2 - 4pm. The spring bulbs - snowdrops and daffodils are peeping through already - it's going to be lovely.
School holiday blues! Looking for something to do with you little ones? Come and celebrate Halloween at Zion Graveyard, Attercliffe. We have Halloween themed crafts to take part in. This is a family activity session, all children must be accompanied by an adult.
We are raising funds for the Snowdrop Project who support survivors of Modern Day slavery to continue Mary Anne Rawson's campaign against slavery. 2pm-5pm Sunday 14th July.

Autumn gardening afternoon, Wed, 7th November at Zion Graveyard, Attercliffe, 2pm - 4pm. Help tidy up the twigs, sweep the leaves and cut back the shrubs. Bring your own gardening gloves and small tools. Come and see our baby Yew tree. Refreshments provided. Everyone welcome.
It was a beautiful day in Skipton yesterday. Thanks to the Friends of Raikes Road Burial Ground for their warm welcome and interesting tour. The fish and chips at Bizzie Lizzie were good too.
We are working with the Wildlife Trust to develop some activities for young children 4 -11 years.
If you have children on holiday this week, Tuesday 30th or Wednesday 31st, 1.30 - 3.30pm you can book in for a free session. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Three new graves uncovered Wednesday afternoon thanks to Max and Leon. Ann Brook under a tree, James and Elizabeth Foster of Woodhouse Mills, also under a tree and James Barber near the wall. Very exciting.
