A 9 year old boy drowned Monday 6/15/26
in Henrico County, VA after his mother dropped him off for swim camp at SwimRVA-North, located at 317 North Wilkinson Road. It was King’s first day at swim camp and he was excited to learn how to swim.
His mother, LaTaisha Johnson, is demanding answers as to how her son drowned at a swim camp that was meant to teach children how to swim. Henrico Police are refusing to call it a drowning!!! We can’t let them cover this up.

An 11-year-old Black boy was minding his own business at his apartment complex pool when a white woman attacked him and threw soda in his face.
In August 2023, Kimberly Jennings, the apartment complex manager in Greensboro, North Carolina, confronted 11-year-old Jace Lee-Eury and his sister for using the residents-only pool. She slapped him, poured soda on him, and hit him with the bottle multiple times.
Jennings was arrested and charged with two counts of assault on a child under 12. Video of the incident went viral, sparking widespread outrage..
This should never happen to a child.

ALERT: Texas small town police chief who made arrests over multiple community journalists' Facebook posts about water quality to resign.

Trinidad Police Chief Charles Gregory resigned effective June 19th, following a string of arrests and lawsuits.

Henderson County resident Jennifer Combs was charged with felony false alarm after posting on Facebook that the city's water had sent several people to the hospital, along with pictures and videos of the brown water coming from her sink.

Gregory alleged that Combs post "creates fear, panic, or unnecessary emergency response within a community."

A jury declined to indict Combs, and she has since filed a lawsuit against the city.

2 former Trinidad Water Clerks, Colby Reyes and Alex Estrada, filed a lawsuit stating they were fired without cause.

Reyes says in the lawsuit that she was fired because she "refused to lie" on behalf of Gregory and City Administrator Cynthia Dosier.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality says it has received complaints about the water quality, and an investigation into the water is ongoing.
