"We can’t save the world by playing by the rules, because the rules have to be changed. Everything needs to change – and it has to start today."\

🔟 Years. One Movement. A New Year for Climate Justice. ✊🌍
Today, We launch the #YearOfClimateJustice.
From climate-affected communities to global action, we're advancing climate justice, a #JustTransition & environmental health.
Climate justice cannot wait.
#NowForClimate
Today I explored the “Alo” exhibition at the fire-affected building of Prothom Alo, deeply moving and inspiring to fight for freedom expressions and halt mob violence. ✊
The world spent $2.7 trillion on defence last year.
Less than 1% could save millions of lives. This is a failure of priorities.
We don’t need gunmen.
We need EcoMen.
Choose humanity over militarisation.

Wetlands = lifelines. Protecting them is not optional—it’s essential.
Ahead of #COP30, We hosted a Pre-COP dialogue on “Financing Nature: Wetlands as Climate Solutions” w/ #ReWET Consortium.
Climate finance must reach those who need it most.💰

Wetlands protect communities, store carbon & support livelihoods.
Locally led nature-based solutions are driving change.
Ahead of #COP30 in Belém, young people, experts & policymakers in #Bangladesh call for urgent investment in nature.

Yesterday at Deluti, Paikgacha in Khulna🌿—a tough road but a rewarding journey to host a #NutritionDialogue w/ the most affected community.
Built heartfelt bonds, learned from local voices, and carried home unforgettable memories. 💚

We thank H.E. @MarieMasdupuy, outgoing French Ambassador 🇫🇷🇧🇩, for her guidance as founding adviser of the Climate Communicators Community. 💚
Your support for adaptation, youth leadership & climate diplomacy is truly inspiring. Wishing you success in your next journey! 🤝
🌿 In Sylhet, 25 young climate activists came together to commit to a fair & green future!
At our grassroots workshop, they set priorities for a #JustTransition — from moving beyond coal & stone to green jobs, securing workers’ rights, advancing eco-tourism & renewable energy.🇧🇩
Leaders can’t promise renewables today & fund fossil fuels tomorrow.
Frontline nations like 🇧🇩pay the price of this hypocrisy.
NDC 3.0 must deliver:
⚡️ Double energy efficiency
☀️ Triple renewables by 2030
🌿 A real #JustTransition for all
No more excuses. #ClimateJustice
Our @SohanYouthNetG was honoured to join the roundtable on “Climate Change: Women’s Lives in the Haor Region” organized by #MJF & @ProthomAlo w/ support from @SwedeninBD.
There is an urgent need for gender-transformative, #LLA, a strong GAP, and men’s engagement. #ClimateJustice
Had a great prep meeting with Dr. Suborna Barua from University of Dhaka on our Pre-#COP30 event on Nature Financing under #ReWet Project.
We’re co-creating ideas to rethink nature finance & shape a policy brief for 🇧🇩’s #COP30 position paper.🌿@REDAAprogramme@TanzilShafique
Today, in a strategic meeting, we + @BdConcern reflected on our journey and set new priorities with a clear focus on climate justice, locally led adaptation, and #nutrition — all driven by youth.
Real change happens when we work together — locally, nationally, and globally. 🌍✊🏽
Youth in ACTION: Feni Flood Crisis!
40+ villages submerged. 539mm rain in 48 hrs. Muhuri River 130cm above the danger level.
@YouthNetGlobal is on the ground with emergency relief: food, water, meds & dignity kits.
💪 Youth are leading the response.
🤝 We need your solidarity!
The outcomes of #SB62 are critical for setting the direction toward #COP30. 🇧🇩's top priority is to double adaptation funding by 2025 and beyond, ensuring that this support comes as grants—not loans. Details 👇
