Should have done this sooner but I'm leaving twitter. I won't continue legitimizing a platform owned by someone who suppresses the truth, promotes hate, and aligns themselves with actual fascists for clout points. Leaving this account up but this will be my last post. Love yall๐
every day on twitter
OP: (insert genre) is dead no one does anything interesting anymore
someone else: have you tried doing new things with it?
OP: no if you do new things then its a different genre
Idk how I never heard about spin rhythm xd, but I discovered it last weekend and omg. So many of the best dubstep artists are in this game. Everyone should experience the joy of playing a @sharkstunes song in a rhythm game
@cffndrggr I remember dealing with this before I cut my family off. I dont miss them lmao. Good on you for saying something tho, even if they are a lost cause
reason for radio silence this time: i am working on a lot of stories. writing stories. also taking some first steps into making games in unreal. album is 80% finished so im taking time to work on something bigger. eventually when i figure this stuff out... zith game? s?
@GLORKGLUNK@vanatice Vitals key tracking is really something I still need to explore, like the idea of a key tracked comb filter seems like so much fun but I haven't really messed with it
@siliconempire Kinda weak move tho if thats actually the case. they absolutely could have turned it into some kind of narrative or commentary if they felt that way
It's weird to think that in the future websites could be like old businesses, like how they'll say "since 1965" websites could say "since 2005" and it will be the same energy at some point
@cooldrugfact_s I did this to myself for an embarrassingly long amount of time lmao. Like I felt like I couldn't send anything to promoters that wasn't 100% cookie cutter shit
@arclighthalo Maybe I'm splitting hairs, but to me it's more about sharing stories/feelings that others can connect with rather than just being noticed or loved, tho those are def part of it too. I guess it's sort of a combination of the first 3 lol
One of the most satisfying feelings in music is finally having the technical knowledge to fill in what your intuition was leading you to. So many projects I started years ago that I just couldn't make sense of that I can now bring to life.
@DepthbufferM Yeah, it's a difficult place to be in. I like to hope that my music is in a happy medium where I could actually make enough money from it to survive, but not so popular that I become a target for AI replacement
