CJI Surya Kant just exposed the Supreme Court’s rotting bias in real time.

“Have you paid maintenance to wife” he questions..
The case was not of maintenance but a PIL.
This shows how illegal he acts.

A man suffering 7-8 years in a broken marriage comes to court asking for basic gender parity in divorce law — a provision that lets ONLY wives weaponise maintenance and then file for divorce.
Instead of addressing the constitutional absurdity, the CJI sneers: “What is your problem with it?” and “I wanted you to admit this.”

Equal sympathy for the wife, huh?
Tell that to the thousands of men being looted, harassed, and trapped in marriages by one-sided laws while the system laughs.

This isn’t justice. This is institutional misandry wearing a robe.

Dismissing a PIL on technicalities while women file PILs for everything under the sun.

The message to every law student and suffering husband is crystal clear: In India, men’s rights don’t matter.

Only “women’s empowerment” does — even if it means blatant discrimination.
