How much of an impact did Zerrin’s story have on Alya’s decision to leave?
Throughout the season, we watched Zerrin’s desperation and how that desperation led her toward the wrong choices. It was a heartbreaking story that ended in a heartbreaking way. Zerrin ended up having to become a killer. The Albora family still doesn’t know this part of the story—only the audience does. But in the part they do know, Zerrin was deemed guilty, especially for “allowing” Demir to raise a kid that is Kaya’s .
What surprised me the most was that Cihan, whom I consider a reasonable and level-headed person, judged her as being completely in the wrong without questioning anything.
Looking at the #CihAl storyline from Alya’s perspective, the idea of a child growing up believing someone else is their father—and that Alya herself could end up doing that to the man she loves more than anything—pushed her toward a decision she never wanted to make. In many ways, Zerrin’s story served as a preview of what Alya feared her own future could become. Sadakat’s words, “That woman made Demir raise our baby as his own!” may well have been echoing in Alya’s mind.
I always wished she had stayed and fought. But when I look at it from this angle, I see it differently: she chose to burn herself instead. She sacrificed her own happiness to protect the man she loves.

En sevdiğim sarılmalardan biri. Alya’nın Deniz uyuyana kadar güçlü durması, sonrasında ‘çok korktum’ diyerek kendini Cihan’a bırakışı… Sımsıkı sarılmaları, Cihan’ın kollarında minicik kalması… Her detayını ayrı seviyorum.
I never approved of anything Sadakat said. I don’t even like her as a mother—let alone as a human being. I never believed she would change, but unfortunately, she often sees the depths that evil can reach better than anyone else.
Even though Alya’s departure was justified with a rather weak and underdeveloped reason, the wounds she carries from her past have always started bleeding again because of seemingly small incidents like this. ( scene in ep 42)
She has always been the one expected to give up, to leave.
No matter how little she values her own life, no matter how many people she saves, Cihan’s love is never enough to give her a true sense of belonging.
Sadakat’s words, “Take your son and leave,” were painfully clear.
Sadakat, who killed Mine so Ecmel wouldn’t take her grandchild away, who had his mother imprisoned so the child could grow up on these lands, was even willing to sacrifice her own grandson.
Why?
So that the war between Cihan and B would end. Or rather, to protect Cihan—in her own way.
And Alya, in her own way, chose to protect Cihan too. She burned herself so that B couldn’t use her as a pawn against him, couldn’t hurt him through her. She chose to leave.
She stepped aside. The dynamic she removed herself from wasn’t the one between Cihan and M—it was the one between Bran and Cihan.
Did she wound Cihan more deeply than Bran ever could have? In my opinion, yes.
I believe we are going to see in Cihan the same wounds that Alya has carried all her life—the wounds of someone who is constantly abandoned, constantly torn away from her roots.
Even though she left because she felt she had no choice, the person she ends up giving up every single time is Cihan.
Alya, the wounded healer, will one day become the remedy for the wounds she herself has opened.
And I would very much like to watch that story unfold. 🫶

Absolutamente increíble. Lo que hoy ha hecho Barcelona se recordará mucho tiempo. La Sagrada Familia, Gaudí y los que durante 140 años han creído en ello, lo merecían.
Karma of the illegal transportation
🤭
Joke aside, that lays in “savassaydilar” imo. One side always gives up, then cannot live without and start fighting for the other but not at the same time…
Only #CihAl - because they know the value of a true love and the importance to fight for… #UzakŞehir
@DreamsInFrames And that takes us back to that conversation in the hospital with Nare, Sado and Alya.
So it was all B’s plan from the very beginning as Sado explained there.
Girl, the first night was a masterpiece… ❤️🔥
queen mapped out the strategy in her head, made the plan, and finished the whole thing in the shower 😅
She is the goddess divine 👸🏻 so Cihan has no way out 🤭
