Please can someone explain how we can balance a 4 month delay listing a LSPO application with (a) urgent Children Act hearings; and (b) the firm’s requirement for payment or it will cease acting.
We believe that the strength in any firm lies with its associates.
Our fabulous team has been augmented by three new hires who have already settled into their roles and bring value across the board.

@DMHodson My real complaint is judges using LSPO apps to put downward pressure on costs within AR proceedings. I get the point, it’s just the absolute wrong forum.
@JamesRoberts_ @DMHodson I recently had a judgment where the J refused to fund the period post (very timely) LSPO but pre hearing. Not quite sure how they thought that encouraged us to make the proper application
A rant about costs and family law? Surely not….
We need:
- mandatory orders relating to costs schedules in LSPO proceedings
- parties to sign the Form H
- detailed estimates
And???
