Lungworm infection can continue into November. Unvaccinated calves in the 1st season and bought-in animals from farms with no history of lungworm are most at risk. Disease onset can be rapid including widespread coughing. Monitor & test if concerned. Talk to the vet #COWSAdvice
ALERT! SHEEP - WORM BURDENS
We've seen increased worm burdens in lambs and adult sheep. Recent wet, relatively warm, weather has meant worm larvae on pasture are likely to be undergoing a mass hatch. Faecal egg count each group of lambs 2-3 weekly. For info speak to your vet
As a Geriatrician and a fellow human, what an example of positive ageing & and what a way to go; at home, with family, comfortably, quickly and enjoying life up until your final days.
What a woman.
