As is becoming a bit of a tradition now for me at this point of the year, I'm sharing an old piece of music which is a piece of light-hearted nonsense and a chance to air some terrible puns once more. Bliadhna mhath ur a h-uile duine. https://t.co/0ZIOLT5riQ
I suppose we'll find out if anyone is listening...here's a snappily titled highly commercial new piece of music. Got top 10 written all over it I reckon. https://t.co/37qIwFlHMW
@StuartMaconie@BBCSounds 'Coventry Carol' is pretty dark and horrific in terms of it's lyrical content, plus it has a beautiful melody. Also, Bob Copper singing 'Christmas Song' from 'A Song for Every Season'. Alasdair Robert's version of 'Sweet William's Ghost' deserves a mention too.
Couldn't decide what was more exciting last night: hearing 'Edwin' being played by @StuartMaconie on The Freak Zone @6_Music, or seeing the image below on my old DAB. The tune can be listened to and/or downloaded for free here: https://t.co/TDZGhp5B7t

I wrote a letter and sent it & a CD to @StuartMaconie. One of the tunes will be on this Sunday's FreakZone on @BBC6Music I could try to play it cool, but really I'm ridiculously excited! I'm also gratified that time was taken to read the letter and listen to the CD. ๐
