@sponhourm It’s hard to say that when the Pacers have only been serious contenders for one year. There was zero guarantee they were going to be legitimate championship caliber this year. Particularly considering how bad they were without Hali. I’m not convinced they are legit right now
@sponhourm The Spurs also have a little bit of the young OKC Durant era issue. They have lots of guys who can get there own shot but who is the alpha? Who is the closer? Who will sacrifice their own scoring for the betterment of the team. It will take some time for them to figure it out
@sponhourm The Knicks also deserve a ton of credit. I can’t believe I am saying this but Mike Brown has been tremendous. The Spurs came out with all of those pressure looks to stress the Knicks guards and chew shot clock and the Knicks adjusted by using that pressure to initiate offense
@elitetakes_ The list is essentially saying if you perform well with a mid QB, you are good. Even though those GMs have more cap to spend elsewhere and have failed to find a franchise you multiple times
@elitetakes_ Decosta is so overrated and you can hate Beane all you want but the Bills have the best record in the league since 2020…it’s not all Josh.
@TheThomasDeLaus That’s a super generic answer and gives away nothing. It’s the philosophy for every player. Fans think players care and like the city way more than they actually do…every decision comes down to money
@PatrickMoranTB UPL gave them 5 and a half straight periods of really good goaltending with their backs up against the wall. They are not blowing up this core to make changes next year. It would be like the Bills making massive changes after the 21 playoff loss. UPL and a high upside backup
@Matt_Bove@JeremyWGR Twitter GMs love the unknown and young guys. But when you are an actual GM, you can’t always take the biggest risk. The safest play is to pay your second most productive and best two way forward and worry about paying the young guys in the future
@Sabrestalkv2 Ruff had to do a ton of juggling with the rotation and the lines. Priority number 1 this offseason needs to be solidifying line pairs and the crease
@Sabrestalkv2 UPL and a higher upside backup. Lyon was the perfect fit this season as he was steady but someone with some higher upside to push UPL would be a good fit. No more rotation in the playoffs. The starter need to be solidified come playoffs
