@RamaCha51619531 Did you calculate that before posting ? 149,399 docs + 10% = 164,338. Against today's projected TN population of ~8.5 Crores, the ratio is 1:517. To reach your 1:620 claim, TN would need a population of over 10.1 Crores. You're just making up numbers now

No,the ratio is way lower than that for sure. If we calculate the massive increase in MBBS seats in Tamil Nadu after 2011 jumping to over 11000 total seats today .Our doctor to population ratio is already much better closer to 1:300 and also doctors are underpaid .

Im also thinking about this. Stop sending children to CBSE. Start looking at IB/Cambridge syllabus in Indian schools. If children want to opt for medical career, then UCAT/BMAT exams will help entry into good foreign universities. If anyone has experience in this switch, please discuss here. I have lost complete faith in this country and its pseudoscience infiltrated educational system.
