Happy World Biofuels Day! As the voice of the industry in Canada, it is the CBA’s mission to increase integration and adoption of biogas & RNG. There are currently 300 biogas & RNG projects in Canada which are:
✔ Reducing greenhouse gas emissions,
✔ Processing waste,
✔ Producing renewable energy, and
✔ Creating nutrient-rich fertilizer.

However, biogas is far from reaching its full potential. According to our 2023 Market Report, Canada is currently only utilizing approximately 14% of its easily-available biogas energy potential. As we work towards a cleaner future, we look forward to the development of more biogas & RNG projects!
