If the parking lot was the only thing they shot for him for the trailer there is no way for literally anybody to jump that far to a conclusion.
I wholeheartedly believe that they presented him an idea, mood board storyboard etc that told of his upbringing, and how they were going to include that in the trailer along with the dance and the song tease
And then they just scrapped everything but the song tease and didn’t tell him anything.
His expression while talking about the trailers 😂
Personal opinion but I 100% believe he filmed stuff that aligned with the storyline they presented him. About it reflecting on his upbringing especially having the filming location in Kanagawa, and they did not use it.
They shot the storyline with him and didn’t use it and only gave a choreography video in the end.
Because there is no way that even Shotaro himself thought the trailer was going to be about his upbringing if the only thing they filmed was the dance in the parking lot.
I'm glad Shotaro finally able to show us this clear emotion. He's human, he can feel sad, angry, dissatisfied, or disappointed. I want him to love himself more and not try to hide what he really feels behind some comforting words. Let it all out, Taro. We'll protect you more
i can literally feel his helplessness. even someone who’s usually so good at talking just didn’t even bother replying properly. im abt to cry fr. the person i care abt sm is being treated so differently… wtf. i cant take this anymore.
For 1,000 days, we have stood alongside Center 5 in supporting our idol. It has been nearly six years since his debut, and we have continued to wait for change. Yet the discriminatory treatment of Shotaro by the agency continues to persist.
We are happy to see Shotaro's talent highlighted in the latest teaser, and we are especially proud to know that he personally participated in creating the choreography. However, we also expect a story that aligns with the overall concept of this comeback, one that leaves room for interpretation and connects meaningfully to the group's narrative as a whole.
Shotaro deserves fair treatment and representation. The ongoing disparity in treatment is unacceptable, and we urge @SMTOWNGLOBAL and @RIIZE_official to address these concerns seriously and ensure equitable treatment moving forward.
As a talented performer and artist, Shotaro should be given the same opportunities to showcase his abilities, contributions, and individuality within the group's content and storytelling. Fair treatment is not a privilege, it is the minimum standard every member deserves!
