@bmlong137@JCReed27281@Watson_SLdn Turf is 100% am embarrassment and you’re right to call that out. Most Americans who’ve played anything on turf would agree with you there, Europe is way ahead of us in terms of actual playing surface
@Lou7988@WWFC_ST21 Seems like you don’t want us to have a chance to learn about the game though. For sure the English football culture destroys almost everywhere in the world especially America, but there’s too many on both sides who don’t care about the issues and just decided they hate each other
@NA5TYN4T3@LdySAFC@LALACMSEA I’ve learned from these past few days on Twitter that the English love to complain and Americans love to argue, which is a bad mix bc an Englishman will complain about something on here, Americans will fire back and if the American made any sort of decent point the convos done
@donaldIsrael18@joelvmoran Club mbappe and country mbappe are two different guys though, you can’t have watched the last WC final and say mbappe is the problem with France. For Madrid sure, not France though
@2DieIsGainJesus@TeddyFella@Motiondyor@JacobsBen You both give him too much credit, he’s purely an engagement baiter, blue check with a sponsor badge who never replies to comments. Probably not even a human behind the account
@Booby_Hill69@DylMillz1994 Baseball is what provides the small town and affordable, local vibe for American sports, along with high school sports. The NFL and NBA are very commercial for sure, but since you’re in England that’s all you see. There’s a ton of great sports culture in the US not on global TV
@aaricka34@W_Drehs Those people aren’t the ones coming here, the same way the people who think every European is poor and there’s no scenery there haven’t ever left the country
@z_charger@imzftbi@idoxvi Yeah for sure, I guess I get it but still disappointing. The real disappointment is that the worlds greatest melting pot city doesn’t have a premier footballing venue in the city
@KayLFC05_ Agreed Liverpool are massive but haaland, Palmer, rice, Bruno and a few others would get this too, there’s more prem/football fans in the US than you would think. The Bosnian team got a hero’s welcome when they got off the plane, there’s people from everywhere in the US
@imzftbi@idoxvi No you’re right, soldier field in Chicago where USA vs Germany played is a shithole that’s getting torn down soon, the World Cup venues besides MetLife are all pretty nice. No idea why the final is held there
@MusialaEra@YashRMFC Madrid: we want olise
Bayern: no
MusialaEra: we own Madrid
Bayern: we want rio
Liverpool: no
MusialaEra: we own Liverpool
Make it make sense
@DrewKnowsBaIl@Plutos_Wrld5@MDSmalls23 I get your perspective as a Cleveland fan but LeBron plays in LA right now and the Rams just signed the best defensive player in football, pretty normal post
@DynamicDodrio@Watchmakermaker@hskandts@X Yeah I feel you, I live in Michigan where it’s much cooler and my ancestry is Dutch and Swedish so I’m very much a cold weather person. I support the English right to complain, just trying to explain why so many Americans are shocked at the level of outcry over the heat
@DynamicDodrio@Watchmakermaker@hskandts@X You wouldn’t have to complain about the outdoor temperature if your indoor temperature was regulated though. It’s pretty regularly 35-36 c in Florida w/ humidity in the summer, but when you can step inside and cool off it’s fine
