Today on dumb Twitter arguments:
People that refuse to take accountability for their issues and the way they affect others.
Vs
People without a shred of empathy or intelligence in their bones.
If I told you that you had to be somewhere at 7am to collect a cheque for a £1 million and if you were even 1 minute late you wouldn’t get it, you’d be there, in fact you’d probably get there early. You just don’t respect other people’s time enough which is a character flaw.
@altlantrin See, I can't respect your takes on anime if you haven't watched real trash though.
You gotta hit 10 sets of Mars of Destruction or something.
One of the Artemis Fowl books I read, there was a passage about him beating a chess grandmaster in 6 moves. Knowing that the author couldn't be bothered to learn the first thing about chess before writing about it rather soured me on the series.
Yeah honestly Fire Force's reputation for fan service far outweighs the amount of fan service it actually has. The problem is that most of the Tamaki stuff is just really bad outside of the one assault episode.
And I say this as somebody that really likes the show
"just fan service"
Actually I did the maths in all season of the anime (1,2,3)
It only has lower than 8 minutes of fanservice out of nearly 30 hours of the show
So the fanservice only takes 0.44% of the show
Which is very low on anime standards
@ForTullos I mean that last point is literally just the hunger games no?. Hell, basically half of all YA novels. Not sure it's exclusive to animanga.
I agree with you in general though
It's incredible how JoJo makes you feel like the shit you're watching makes sense. A guy will say "I'll distract him, I can control the weather," then it starts raining poison frogs and right when you're about to question it the narration explains that frogs are a type of weather
