We identified and resolved the intermittent access issue some customers saw when reaching https://t.co/0RZ2w5xmjp.
DNS was resolving correctly and backend services were responding. A small number of source IPs were blocked by automated ingress security filtering after normal portal loading matched a false-positive pattern.
The affected blocks have been cleared, and we are tuning the relevant rules to prevent this from happening again.

Some customers may be experiencing intermittent access to https://t.co/LQuHLoVlEh following yesterday’s DNS nameserver migration for https://t.co/9vha0kH4ef.
We’re investigating resolver and network-path differences now. The status page will be updated as we learn more.
The IT engineer who was on call all night. To everyone working today: thank you. Happy Labour Day from ZSoftly.

ZSoftly Cloud Platform is now trending on @peerpush_com 🚀
Canadian sovereign cloud infrastructure with CAD billing, zero egress fees, compute, storage, Kubernetes, networking, and 65+ managed apps.
https://t.co/O3f47YMNtF
A small milestone for @ZSoftlyTI .
Tracxn is now tracking ZSoftly in its global public cloud market data. A month ago we appeared at 560/560. The September update has us at 470/560.
The ranking is secondary. Being independently recognized as part of the public cloud market is what matters.
Still building. 🇨🇦
PBS 3.4 reached end of support in August 2026.
Before moving to PBS 4.2:
- Check datastores
- Review sync jobs
- Test a real restore
An upgrade without a recovery test leaves the key question unanswered.

Creating a virtual machine should be simple.
This 15-second walkthrough shows how to launch one on ZCP: choose a Canadian region, select compute,
storage, and an image, configure networking, then deploy.

Looking for open-source contributors to ZSoftly Cloud Platform (ZCP) 👀
We have a couple of small, practical projects for Go developers who want to contribute some free development time, build something useful, and get hands-on with a real cloud platform.
1. ZCP Dynamic DNS service
Think Cloudflare DDNS, but for ZSoftly DNS.
The goal is a lightweight Go service that:
Runs as a Docker container
Authenticates with the ZCP API
Detects IP changes
Automatically creates/updates ZSoftly DNS records
Can be deployed almost anywhere
2. ExternalDNS provider for ZSoftly DNS
We also want to add ZSoftly DNS support to Kubernetes ExternalDNS, so Kubernetes services and ingresses can automatically create and manage DNS records on ZCP.
If you know Go, Docker, Kubernetes, APIs, or DNS, we’d love your help.
👉 Interested in taking on one of these projects? Comment “I’m interested” below or DM me and I’ll share the requirements and help you get started.

Nothing to do on your side. Everything is back and verified.
Two things we staged before the window did their job. Storage kept serving through a failed disk node. Every customer router kept running through a 25 minute host outage.
Last night we patched our Montreal region. Customer VMs, routers and storage stayed up throughout.
Our portal and API went down during the windows. One ran ~40 min long after a host rebooted with a broken network config.
Sorry if you hit errors. We own this one.
The cause. A hypervisor rebooted onto a new kernel and booted clean. A race in its network config meant the VLANs never applied. The host came up healthy and unreachable at the same time.
We fixed it from the out of band console. The config bug gets fixed so it stops happening.
What stayed up:
- Running VMs
- Virtual routers and networks
- Ceph storage, zero blocked I/O
- CloudStack API and database

You manage ZCP infrastructure as code now. The official provider is live on the OpenTofu registry and the Terraform Registry, with 38 resources and 12 data sources covering everything our zcp CLI does: instances, volumes, snapshots and backups, VPCs and networks, firewall and egress rules, load balancers, auto-scaling, Kubernetes clusters, DNS, object storage, VPN, and account governance.

3/ The bigger ZSoftly focus is private cloud and hybrid cloud.
We help businesses migrate from VMware/Broadcom, build Apache CloudStack and OpenStack environments, deploy Ceph storage, and run hyperconverged private cloud nodes.
2/ For public cloud users, YUL-1 is the recommended region.
The offer is simple: Canadian cloud compute, CAD billing, no ingress or egress fees, and infrastructure we own and operate.
