Yeah....At 35 any potential talented founder likely has
-Money
-Network
-Likely a few other start ups (and success)

They don't need YC nor are they going to give up a huge chunk of their company to be in YC.

I'm not saying this is a universal rule. However YC gets HUGE stakes of companies by investing in extremely young non connected founders.

Let's also be straight...In this era....If your just starting your first start up at 35, broke and with no connections...you are not a promising person that people will rush to bet on.

But 10,000 lines of non human reviewed code, approved and reviewed only by claude, jammed up in the guts of a large scale software, is not perfect work.

Every version of Claude since 4.5 has gotten worse.

What each version since 4.5 seems to be doing is the opposite: trying to improve by making things more complicated.

It’s like a plumber. Before, if you asked it to patch a leak, it would patch it 90% of the way.

Now, to solve that final 10%, it doesn’t just patch the leak. It covers it with another wall, pours cement over it, and adds a dry-vac system...all while still missing that last 10%.

Mythos is the pinnacle of this. It overcooks everything while still missing that 10%.

The pattern since 4.5 is over compensation while still missing the subtle solutions, and spending more credits in the process.

Transformers models/LLMs are not the way forward.
