Screaming into the abyss that huge improvements to defence spending could be made with the stroke of a pen:

-Change the minor capital project threshold from $10 to $100M

-Change DND's contract authority from $5 to $100M to match the MND's $100M expenditure initiation authority

The RCN ISTAR Request for Proposal is now out and is expected to move quickly. This is an important capability that will take us from our current small UAS line of sight ops capability, into the future. #BZ to the team that brought us to this point.
