23:45 PM.

I'm at PC looking at the logarithmic BTC chart and many thoughts fulfill my mind.

The mass belief is that Bitcoin produces a bullrun every 4 years, post-halving events.

But this is not exactly true.

It doesn’t depend on the 4 years pattern, yet on the block time.

Every 210.000 blocks of transactions, which take approximately 4 years.

This chart highlights the situation:

• First Halving on November 2012
• Second Halving on July 2016
• Third Halving on May 2020
• Fourth Halving on April 2024 (approximately)

At each run, we have diminishing returns and diminishing losses.

But if we dive more into each “run structure” we can see something truly particular: the latest one hasn't seen the classic blow-off top.

Everyone was expecting it, also strengthened by a mega echo chamber created by a famous Bitcoin model.

This might be interpreted as a first “wake-up call”.

Things can change, especially in a market soaked with influencers, manipulators, and “magical” patterns that should 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 have to repeat.

Each bull run is made with a mix of ingredients:
• Supply & demand law
• Fresh hype/narratives
• Renewed liquidity flowing into the market
• Catalysts

The rise of the strongest assets in this space attracts new capital and new participants in the market, which contributes to unleashing strong liquidity to the other assets.

But why does it happen?

As said, Bitcoin is the “wealth attractor” tool and works because of its characteristics but also because of the supply & demand law.

It's scarce, and due to halving, the reward for miners is cut in half, contributing to maintaining a low inflationary ratio.

Therefore, with an increase or even equal demand, the price rises.

But...

The halving dynamics compared to the previous cycles are different as they impact a different supply ratio (more than 92% of BTC’s supply is mined)

Yes, the next 2024 halving will have its impact as it is a technical feature written in the code but will be less impactful.

Thus, the current supply allows market makers and market dynamics to potentially play a different game.

“𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐦𝐬 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚 𝐩𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝.”

The general consensus is that we will run post-2024 halving transitioning into a full bull mode in 2025.

While history/cycles show that this is the most logical pattern, I’m kinda sure that the market will find its way to surprise and trap the majority.

No, I got my sell targets and plan which don't include this theory, BUT I'm maintaining an elastic approach.

I have a plan B, in that case.

“𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑒𝑛 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑠𝑢𝑟𝑒” or “𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑛𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑒𝑛” are among the 2 most dangerous market statements we can implant in our minds.

My honest suggestion is to prepare a strategy for both cases.

Don't follow blindly a person or a belief.

Create hypotheses, raise doubts, ask, and question yourself.

An adaptable mind is like a chameleon, seamlessly blending into different environments and embracing change as effortlessly as the chameleon changes its colors.

Remember:
