Two Phoenix Air Gulfstream IIIs, N173PA and N163PA, staged and departed out of Souda Bay, Greece, earlier today on an Ebola-related medical evacuation mission. The aircraft are en route to an airport just outside the Ugandan capital of Kampala, where they will transport infected Americans out of the Democratic Republic of the Congo for medical treatment.

On board will be American missionary physician Dr. Peter Stafford, a confirmed Ebola patient, along with six others, including two physicians and members of the Stafford family. The patients are expected to be transported to Charité Hospital in Berlin.
