@kimianora If I completely trusted myself, I wouldn't become Jesus, Buddha, or Lao Tzu. I would become fully myself. And perhaps that's exactly what made them who they were.
A wave may believe itself to be separate from the ocean. It may fear other waves, compete with them, even curse the sea itself. Yet at no point has it ceased to be water. Its separation is real as an experience. But not as a fact.
Perhaps this is true of us...
@gamblers99 We are not our thoughts indeed... we are ground with which everything is happening... so instead of attaching ourselves to every happenings or outcomes, let it flow... down the river of life.
Perhaps the deeper question is not whether God is good by our standards.
Perhaps it is whether our standards are large enough to comprehend what we call God.
The whole point of real teaching is to make itself obsolete.
Teachers, maps, all that stuff? They're there to eventually vanish, so you can just experience things directly.
