🚨 Washington’s Secret Takeover of Japan’s Central Bank Just Made the Global Crisis 10x Worse

The Bank of Japan was finally trying to reverse the money-printing machine. Finance Minister threatened of bold actions to save the Yen and BoJ banker @yutokanzakireal even apologized for the measures prepared by BoJ.

This “unwind” was already chaotic, the yen is crashing to levels not seen in 40 years, borrowing costs are jumping, and markets are getting nervous.

This was also warned by City Of London banker @LordBelgrave months ago.

The U.S. Treasury then stepped in hard. They’re basically helping run the show with Japan’s central bank:

Joint currency interventions to stop the yen from freefalling, and close coordination so Japan doesn’t dump its huge pile of U.S. government bonds (which would send American interest rates soaring and hurt everyone).

Instead of selling those U.S. bonds, Japan has now been forced to use a special Fed program called the FIMA repo facility. They temporarily swap the bonds for dollars without dumping them on the open market. It sounds clever, but it only makes the underlying problem worse, the debt and leverage stay hidden longer, so when the real pain hits, it will be even bigger.

Japan can see the writing on the wall. They’re hoping for an escape plan with digital assets.

Bitcoin is now being allowed as treasury asset for banks and institutions.

More than 50 banks have partnered with Ripple to overhaul their banking system. Their new financial infrastructure also includes zk-proof privacy through @DNAOnChain’s privacy layer.

Solana and Ondo have been chosen for tokenization.

Japan already lived the zero-growth nightmare. The U.S. could be next.

The rest of the world needs an escape plan too.
