Amazon’s success with #ProjectHailMary gives me some faith that they know what they’re doing when it comes to James Bond. Hiring Denis Villeneuve is already a great sign. But I think Amazon has earned some benefit of the doubt in their pursuit for a new 007.

Sinners and One Battle After Another are both masterpieces. Both Ryan Coogler and Paul Thomas Anderson are winning an Oscar. We are in the most win-win scenario imaginable. I’m not innocent here, but there’s no reason to turn this into a bloodbath when there’s no bad outcome
