@MartinSLewis Why is it much cheaper to buy next door and knock through (if they sell!) than to sell up and move on, yet getting mortgage/finance for this is very difficult.
Mortgage for £220k vs £270k+ (+stamp duty fees!!)no brainer but can't find the right finance.
@MartinSLewis@Carolinerebisz@itvMLshow Me and my hubby have a few missed years from working abroad (separately). Now 35 and 36yr. Should we pay to get ours topped up?
@MartinSLewis i've checked and I have a few years on NI contributions missing due to prev living in diff countries.
Aged 35 now. Do i need to buy them or will i have enough? Scheduled to get £220 pw when i retire.

@MartinSLewis hubby owns current house. I'm not on mortgage. Thinking about buying next door and knocking through (they were looking to move). Should i open a LISA or is it diff for 2nd homes? (Will eventually be 1 home if we do this!)

@MartinSLewis@itvMLshow I heard recently, we are heading for a typical northern family home to be worth millions in not too far future. This isn't
ideal. No one can afford london
