Tulsidas wrote one verse a day for those 40 days.

The collection of verses was called the "Hanuman Chalisa."

Tulsidas made a radical move when he decided to write the Chalisa in Awadhi, making it easier for all of us to understand.

You know what happened on the 41st day when he finished the Hanuman Chalisa...

Thousands of monkeys created massive havoc in Agra, which led Akbar to apologize to Tulsidas and release him.

Akbar became friend with tulsidas afterwords,and he started respecting Ram devotion more.
