Another week, another rejection for bitcoin:native at the 50-week moving average, currently sitting at the $83K bear market invalidation level.

What’s interesting about the 50WMA is that, in every prior bear cycle, price has tested it twice.

The first test usually comes early to midway through the bear cycle. Price rejects and continues lower.

The second test has always broken through, usually later in the cycle.

This is the first time BTC has tested the 50WMA during the current bear cycle.

If we fail to break through in the coming weeks, I wouldn’t be surprised to see some mean reversion after this move up.

At that point, I’d be willing to bet that the next time we revisit the 50WMA, price breaks through and invalidates the bearish swing.

I'm currently seeing two scenarios on the macro scale.

1⃣Bitcoin goes from here straight into a bull market hitting 99K by January 2027.

2⃣ Bitcoin spends more than a year in a pretty wide range approximately till the end of 2027 and after that starts a bull market.

Both scenarios are pretty much based on the potential path of CS on the monthly.

By the look of the altcoin charts which should be a hint for the entire market I think that option 2 is significantly more likely.

Obviously a completely different third option which I don't see right now can happen as well. But these two options are what I see now.

In any case if I was completely sidelined I would get at least some exposure at 70.3K if it comes.

Nice move by #Bitcoin and crypto. Similar moves in metals. Obviously a lot of short covering off a 2 month consolidation, but bullish nonetheless.

Little more work to do before a bear market bottom can be confirmed, and a new 4Yr cycle start. Closing out the month strong above (10 month MA) $74k first step, then a weekly close above the $82.8k highs swings the high TF trends back to bullish.

Either way, very close now. Excited to get back to the desk in Sept.

Market Wizard Linda Raschke’s 12 Technical Trading Rules:
1. Buy the first pullback after a new high. Sell the first rally after a new low.

2. Afternoon strength or weakness should have follow through the next day.

3. The best trading reversals occur in the morning, not the afternoon.

4. The larger the market gaps, the greater the odds of continuation and a trend.

5. The way the market trades around the previous day’s high or low is a good indicator of the market’s technical strength or weakness.

6. The previous day’s high and low are two very important “pivot” points, for this was the definitive point where buyers or sellers came in the day before. Look for the market to either test and reverse off these points, or push through and show signs of continuation.

7. The last hour often tells the truth about how strong a trend truly is. “Smart” money shows their hand in the last hour, continuing to mark positions in their favor. As long as a market is having consecutive strong closes, look for up-trend to continue. The up trend is most likely to end when there is a morning rally first, followed by a weak close.

8. High volume on the close implies continuity the next morning in the direction of the last half-hour. In a strongly trending market, look for resumption of the trend in the last hour.

9. The first hour’s range establishes the framework for the rest of the trading day.

10. A greater percentage of the day’s range occurs in the first hour then was the case in the past, and thus it has become increasingly important to trade aggressively if there are early signs of a strong trend for the day.

11. There are four basic principles of price behavior which have held up over time. Confidence that a type of price action is a true principle is what allows a trader to develop a systematic approach.

The other day, while walking along the ocean at Cape Woolamai, we got caught by the high tide, having to climb onto the cliff rocks. When we eventually got up the stairs to the top of the cliff, there were some local people staring out from the lookout. I asked them, if the tide is usually this high, they said no. The Moon is currently in her Major Standstill years and her Max North/South Declination Out of Bounds. The tides are massive and she is very high in the sky here in the southern hemisphere at her max southern declination.
Massive high tides. I once met a man who traded using a fishing almanac to time the swings of his trades.
