@wingus8000@reclaimthefight@CharlotteAlter I’ll say it! Antizionism and AES demonizing Israel is not something I’ll vote for. If that’s the way the party wants to go it won’t have my vote. I know I’m not alone.
@pstaggert@Donsbridge2@BanUnsweetTea They really don’t get it do they? They have no idea how batshit insane it sounds to suggest that a random Synagogue in West Bloomfield MI might be expected to get blowback from something another country is doing on the other side of the world. AES is so f’king toast.
@BanUnsweetTea Good luck with that line of thinking.
Gay Jew here in Michigan. He is not normal. I’m switching sides for the first time ever to make sure AES loses.
@Facts0601@ShutupToshi9227 There is no way he could for me. Just one vote but I’m a gay Jew and antisemitism and Israel are now my “single issue”. I’m splitting my ticket and will vote Rodgers.
@StatisticUrban I’m a gay Jew who has voted Democrat until now. I’m not a party partisan or member. If AES wins this I’ll split my ticket, voting Republican for senate. No way I can support what he stands for.
@aarongell I feel it’s important to be connected to the circle of life and death. We are after all just another animal on this ball of rock in space. Which is why I don’t want the food to be obfuscated behind distant factory farms and processing facilities.
@aarongell Just finished your piece on meat eating. Very interesting. My family is taking the opposite journey toward fishing and hunting for food. Ironically driven mostly by my outdoorsy 2nd grader.
@JewishSpaceLazr@GadSaad Suicidal empathy is so evocative. I’ve wondered for a long time how groups like queers for Palestine could support something that would literally kill them. 😵💫
I just ordered Hoffer’s True Beliver. Looking forward to reading it.
