@lspraggan I am currently in hospital for my mental health and your music is getting me through each day. I’m going to ‘Fight for it’. So thank you to you and the songs you write and for giving me a reason to carry on living. You are my biggest inspiration 💙
Mental illness is not…
• Attention Seeking
• A choice
• Just a “phase”
• A flaw in character
• An insult or adjective
• “All in my head”
• A weakness
• Funny or a joke
• The same for everyone
Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay 🌍 And it’s time for action.
Take that first step to getting help. Or share this post and help us reach someone who really needs to see it 💙
It’s #WorldMentalHealthDay! 🌍💚 A day to talk about mental health. To show everyone that mental health matters. And let people know that it’s okay to ask for help.

My trauma did NOT make me stronger.
It did however, give me emotions I didn’t know how to deal with, gave me cptsd, sleepless nights, made me very vulnerable. Made me believe no one was trust worthy. It made every relationship I had difficult.
And almost killed me.
Trauma did NOT make you stronger.
It traumatized you, broke your heart, dysregulated your nervous system, gave you PTSD, sleepless nights, trust issues, connection difficulty, almost killed you, and stole your will to live.
YOU made + make yourself stronger…by SurThriving.
I’ve lost so much to mental illness that it is hard to not be angry and upset. Losing my job, losing friends & losing control of my life has been brutal. Mental illness has cost me but I’ve built a new life & through my struggles, I’ve found amazing friends who love me for me🌻
Sometimes trauma survivors can get anxious AF when we actually GET something we want-- because we have a voice in our head saying, "good things don't last."
No, actually-- it's often more like "good things get taken away."
Or "you're gonna pay for that good thing happening."
For a lot of people with mental illness, they find it so easy to help others through hard times, give advice and provide comfort BUT the ability to show themselves the same compassion is one of the hardest things to do!
@Pink I want to thank YOU. I have been very unwell with mental illness and your music has been the best therapy for me. You’re incredible, and I couldn’t have done it without your songs! I can’t wait to see you in London!! You’re my inspiration 💗
