i think every time a TME artist draws a transfem character w facial hair & calls it “butch” should add 24 hours to a timer during which real life transfem butches can legally hunt the perpetrators for sport
we already have it for gender but why dont we also have art depicting what we can but dont have to do wrt embarrassing things like peeing your pants because that’s like really valid too and happens just as easily as growing body hair
@The_mindvirus@GODMUTTZ if you identify as a feminine or masculine trans person is your business but making bodies fem/masc is unfair labeling bodies is unfair
@The_mindvirus@GODMUTTZ this image resembles my body even on t as a poc my hip bones are wide and cannot be changed and this body is being labeled feminine which is dysphoric for me i dont want my body to be labeled i didnt choose to be born in it
I think one aspect of the conversation we forget when we critique “subversivism” is the fact that there’s absolutely nothing subversive about tumblr tenderqueers. They can go through the motions of “transgression” but ultimately they have completely internalized TERF ideology.
What the whole lion drawing thing made me realize these people think that being butch or a femboy is about how your body looks and not how you dress/ carry yourself. Would a trans man with big hips be assigned femboy at birth? Like what the fuck does that imply.
@dogcat77n@thwokenthusiast and the same could be said about how you qrted a trans womans critique on how a trans woman and man should be depicted calling it stupid 😭 you are non binary
@dogcat77n@thwokenthusiast its not nitpicking its straight up ableism when the art is dysphoria inducing and the artist tells people to get over it just because he doesnt have dysphoria in regards to his hips and has never had to live as a trans women that experienced male puberty
@dogcat77n@thwokenthusiast probably not but its in bad taste to portray peoples bodies and keep art up for views and likes when so many people are politely telling you they take issue with it
