The most exhausting part of being a parent is: Nothing. Parenting is a two way closed loop system. The energy, love and attention you give to your kids, you get back. If you’re exhausted there’s something wrong in the loop.

@exQUIZitely I think BG:II SoA is my favorite game of all time. BG1 was great but how much SoA shifted and expanded the world qnd storytelling was amazing for me. Baldur’s Gate as a city was cool, but Athkatla was another level. A lot more mysterious, so much under its surface.

It is pointless to expect the world around us to get better. None of that was or is promised to us. We must learn to strengthen ourselves whilst everything continues to crumble around us.

The world I grew up in is gone. It doesn’t exist anymore except in my memories. I grew up thinking things were going to improve and get better in the future. The future is here now. There’s a dark cloud hovering. It keeps growing. Is the world a better place today?
