Yesterday’s flooding was largely a flash flood triggered by several hours of intense rainfall. As is typical with flash floods, water levels have since receded in many affected areas. However, we are aware that some individuals are attempting to exploit the situation to advance a particular agenda.

Our priority remains the safety and well-being of Lagosians. We will continue to monitor vulnerable locations, respond promptly where necessary, and implement measures aimed at protecting lives and property while improving the state’s flood resilience.

That road has been d@ngerous for a long time now,but it's like it's getting more d@ngerous as I speak.

In the past 3 weeks over 5 bodies have been found along that axis.

One body was found last week Sunday around dunamis church.

One was found around Dantata bridge.

Another one was found along the stadium axis.

The insēcurïty this period is really high.

If you leave along that axis, please if you don't have anything to do at night, please stay indoors.
