Cabinet approves increase in MSP for 14 Kharif Crops for Marketing Season 2026–27, reinforcing the Government’s commitment to farmer welfare and remunerative prices.
Highest MSP increase approved for Sunflower Seed (₹622/quintal), followed by Cotton, Nigerseed and Sesamum. Farmers are expected to receive the highest margins over cost of production in Moong, Bajra, Maize and Tur/Arhar crops.
