when someone is really chosen by God, you'll know it by the way they go through hell, lose people, lose things, face storms that should've taken them out... and somehow come back stronger. resilient. full of joy and laughter again.
that kind of strength isn't natural. it's supernatural. divine.
Life has been weird lately. It feels like a mixture of blessings, lessons, and confusion all at once. Some days I'm grateful. Some days I'm tired. Some days I'm just trying to make sense of it all. But no matter how draining it gets, I still show up. I still move with faith. I still trust that everything is coming together for me, even when it doesn't look like it yet. I've learned not to question the timing. I've learned to grow through what I don't understand. And I don't know who needs to hear this, but don't give up. Keep going.
For a season, Peter went back to fishing after thinking he failed Jesus.
The next season, he was boldly preaching to thousands.
For a season, Paul sat in prison cells for following God.
The next season, his letters were shaping the early Church.
For a season, Lazarus was buried behind a stone.
The next moment, Jesus called him back to life.
God is able to turn around the very thing that felt final.
So if this season feels heavy, don't assume God is finished yet.
Nobody saw Esther becoming. And that’s the point.
Some of the greatest work God does in you happens before anyone recognizes you.
Let Him develop you without an audience.
One thing I've realised is that following God doesn't always make life easier... sometimes it makes you walk a narrower road. Not because suffering automatically means you're more spiritual, but because obedience often costs something. And while the world may celebrate comfort, status, and self, God is usually far more focused on forming character, trust, and dependence on Him. Maybe that's why some of the strongest people spiritually are often the ones who've walked through the deepest refining.
When your identity is rooted in God, you stop chasing what every one else is doing and start walking with purpose. You start living with a confidence in Christ you never had before. ♥️
