Mr. Kumar has been awarded the Best Paper Award in Fluid Mechanics at the 11th International and 51st National Conference on Fluid Mechanics & Fluid Power (FMFP-2024), held at Aligarh Muslim University, Uttar Pradesh, India.

The paper is co-authored with Mr. Manu S. Varghese and Prof. Sachin Y. Shinde, titled "Experimental Investigation of Flapping Flexible Surface with Change in Length and Flexural Rigidity," explores the impact of length variations and flexural rigidity on flow and thrust generation by flexible surfaces flapping in quiescent ambient.

We wish more success to Mr. Kumar, his co-authors and his mentor Prof. Sachin Y. Shinde.
