Dear BIGHIT MUSIC and HYBE,

As fanbases supporting Keonho, we can no longer tolerate how @cortis_bighit @BIGHIT_MUSIC @HYBEOFFICIALtwt have handled the controversies surrounding CORTIS. We are deeply concerned that KEONHO has once again been placed at the center of the backlash and seemingly expected to absorb criticism that should be addressed by the company.

As a company that has emphasized CORTIS’s direct involvement in music creation, BIGHIT MUSIC must also take responsibility for the songs and creative processes it oversees. Controversies surrounding a release should not be shifted onto the members themselves, particularly when they are still young and some are minors.

What concerns us even more is the lack of visible protection for the members when they face criticism and malicious attacks online. Artists should not be left to defend themselves against overwhelming public backlash while the company remains largely silent. It is the company’s responsibility to provide appropriate guidance, protection, and communication during such situations.

We especially do not condone the apparent use of KEONHO to defuse this controversy. Having the youngest member step forward and personally address the situation places an unfair burden on him and risks turning him into a shield against criticism directed at the company. KEONHO should not be sacrificed to public anger simply to bring an end to a controversy.

We urge BIGHIT MUSIC and HYBE to:
• Take clear responsibility for controversies involving the group’s releases and production.
• Stop placing the burden of damage control on the members, especially minors.
• Ensure that KEONHO and other members are not used as shields or diversions to absorb criticism that should be addressed by the company.
• Protect CORTIS members from unnecessary public backlash and malicious attacks.

CORTIS members deserve the opportunity to grow as artists without being forced to carry responsibilities that belong to the adults and professionals managing them.
