I think a big reason beat em ups are treated like a "so bad it's good" genre is because they so often have intentionally comical presentation and irony poisoned people assume "oh, the game is meant to be bad on purpose hehe, I get it" like they do with EDF https://t.co/v9Yi8VGCOH
