So, whilst Billy boy @billybragg was claiming to have supported me (he specifically used my name as an example of a transphobic bigot) back in the 1980s when we were fighting the causes he approved off, it wasn’t quite like that.

Bragg said ‘they’ (meaning socialist blokes like him) were supporting lesbians, but my recollection of it, and the recollection of many of my sisters, was that they were telling us we were a bourgeois deviation from the real goal of socialist utopia, whilst occasionally making sexual innuendos and even actual passes at us on the picket line.

@RozKaveney The 2010 Equality Act provides for single SEX exemptions. The Haldane judgment of 2023 said a GRC can change a person’s sex for legal purposes. If you can’t understand why women want the legal position clarified, I can’t help you.
