I am deeply angered by the hypocrisy of self-proclaimed "conservatives," who are meant to uphold tradition, yet casually use language that undermines women's dignity.

Targeted attacks on incumbent female politicians serve only to discourage capable women from entering politics in the future, resulting in greater rigidity within the political system.

At the site of the explosion at Aeon Mall Kumamoto, the whereabouts of approximately 20 to 30 employees remain unknown.

Police, firefighters, and the Japan Self Defense Forces are continuing search and rescue operations. According to police officials, several fatalities have already been confirmed.

The mall had reportedly informed its headquarters that everyone visible had been evacuated after the earthquake. However, about 30 minutes later, an explosion occurred. Employees who were still working inside the building may have been caught in the blast.

We can only hope that as many people as possible are found alive.
