“Error of judgement.” 🤡 We’re not stupid. @prorefofficial
Haaland was initially flagged offside, then Matt Donohue confidently overturned it suggesting Enzo didn’t interfere. The wrong image was used and Haaland was STILL offside anyway.
These are supposedly elite officials with endless training. At what point does “incompetence” become suspicious?
Michael Oliver has previously been paid freelance by City’s owners to officiate in Abu Dhabi. Now questions have emerged over Matt Donohue’s connections to City’s ownership. Whatever happened to conflicts of interest?
City spent another £500m and had 0 shots on target outside the disputed goal, were dominated in midfield and repeatedly gave the ball away. Foden even lashed out in frustration, cowardly kicking Bruno in the balls.
Yet Oliver somehow found just 5 minutes added time despite the lengthy VAR checks, substitutions and City’s time-wasting after the red card.
@ManUtd cannot simply accept another “review” that ends with an apology and these officials continuing to referee Premier League matches.
This needs an independent investigation including conflicts of interest, background checks, financial links and the full decision-making process.
Enough of “mistakes”. We need transparency and accountability.

🚨 OFFICIAL: Pro Ref confirm “an error of judgement” in Haaland’s goal — also informing Man United directly.
“Following the incident in the 60th minute of Sunday's Premier League fixture between Manchester United and Manchester City at Old Trafford, we can provide clarification regarding Erling Haaland’s awarded goal.
“The on-field decision was offside against Erling Haaland – that was checked by VAR and he was found to be in an onside position.
“In the same attack, it was established that Enzo Fernandez did not play the ball and therefore that makes any offside offence subjective, however, on this occasion, the VAR did not recognise the likely impact of his position and should have recommended an on-field review.
“Contact has been made with Manchester United this evening to acknowledge what we deem is an error of judgement. A review of the incident will take place.”
“You’d rather go to Man City or Arsenal, you know they’ll win trophies.” 🏆
Do Man Utd lack elite pull power in the transfer market? 🤔

Alan Shearer called Bruno Fernandes “pathetic” and for him to get sent off a week ago for something nowhere near as aggressive and petulant as what Rice did.
Funny that.
Declan Rice gets bodied, so has a tantrum and kicks the Brighton player…
Any other player at any other club, that’s a straight red card and 3 match ban. Textbook.
Never for Arsenal though! 😂
If you watch Declan Rice play football for a full 90 minutes & then come to the conclusion that he’s one of the best midfielders in the world / a Ballon D’or level player then this sport is not for you.
FT: Newcastle 2 Hull 1
The hosts hang on for a big win but there was no control second half & they are lucky to survive with three points
Hull had 21 shots & deserved something from game
Likes of Thiaw resisted well late on but, a brilliant opening 20mins apart, that was unconvincing from Newcastle
So you mean a bit like Carrick has been missing a fully fit Sesko, not had Baleba available to him & De Ligt hasn’t kicked a ball for him? All whilst trying to find combinations & in a “build” ???
Comical how all others are viewed via a United manager 😂😂😂
No one is enjoying this Arsenal downfall more than me. I’m not even satisfied with how far they’ve fallen yet because there’s still plenty more room for them to go down.

Wembley appearances for both fans
🔴 Manchester United: 60
🔵 Manchester City: 31
Millennium Stadium, Cardiff for both fans
🔴 Manchester United: 8 appearances
🔵 Manchester City: 1 appearance
Absolute nonsense. #MUFC#MCFC
And so it starts. Nothing annoys me more.
City fans have to spend thousands more than any other fan, given they get to the latter stages of everything. They go to Wembley more than United play cup matches each season.
They can skip a League Cup tie against Norwich.
