One thing I've observed now that I'm 35+ is that careers are far less linear than we think.

People build incredible careers and businesses but what I've also seen is that sometimes things fall apart. Not because they're lazy. Not because they're incompetent. Not because they did anything wrong.

My friend got sacked after 3 months of working in a hospital.

The owner of the hospital, a medical officer who relocated to Canada with the family told him he no longer needed his service as 350k monthly was too much for him.

Since then that hospital is being managed by a male auxiliary worker he trained while he was in Nigeria, he even consult via phone call with the guy.

One truth we never told ourselves, professional healthcare workers are the chief enablers of quackery.

But let's correct a notion here so that we are not slandering innocent Doctors, Health workers and LASUTH who have dedicated time to save lives.

The message posted said They gave him 3 pints of blood but " There was no Platelets" in it.

It is not possible. Platelet is a part of whole blood. And when blood is given , Platelet is part of what you receive.
Except otherwise indicated.

It is just like saying he was given Water (H20) but they didn't give him the O (oxygen) part of water.

Please don't let's spread this rumor
We can mourn in peace but don't let's injure the healthcare system.
