@MelonMelanee They're truly made for each other. For Itachi, Shisui is like his mentor, bff, the brother he could look up to, and the only person that shared the same pain as him while trying to mend the rift between their clan and the village, and I believe they also could be lovers too.

@MelonMelanee And the moment they're ambushed by the Anbu. Shisui put all his trust in Itachi's ability to hold against that Anbu woman, even after his own enemy told him how dangerous she is. And Itachi did it, just like how Shisui believe he can.
