Suga made history by donating ₩5 BILLION ($3.6 MILLION USD) to Severance Hospital, part of Yonsei Medical Center, the largest donation ever made by an idol, helping establish the “Min Yoongi Treatment Center” for children and youth with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and later contributed an additional ₩1 BILLION ($720,000 USD) to further support children’s medical care.

He also co developed the music based “MIND” therapy program and worked with specialists to support emotional expression, social interaction, and long term care for children with ASD reflecting his thoughtful, compassionate, and deeply kind hearted nature.
